Akam Hamak is an entrepreneur and investor based in Miami, Florida. Born in Skövde, Sweden in 2003 and raised in Falköping, he is an American citizen through his father and moved to the United States to build and acquire internet businesses. He taught himself to code as a teenager, accepted cryptocurrency as payment before he could easily open a bank account, and worked in security research and bug bounties before turning to investing and acquisitions.
He is the founder of Closr, an AI sales platform that helps agents win website clients by generating a personalized demo site in under a minute and handling hosting, domains, and fulfillment. He co-founded and serves as CEO of TabSlice, a hospitality platform that simplifies splitting a restaurant bill. He operates his ventures through Akam Investments LLC and holds long-term positions across digital assets, digital media, and Florida real estate; his media businesses have generated hundreds of millions of views.
Hamak studied computer science before leaving to focus on ventures that were already working. He favors calculated risks and compounding value over many years rather than short-term trends.
